Art Exhibition

The 2006 UK Inquiry identified five key factors that affect mental health and wellbeing of people, these were: discrimination, participating in meaningful activities, relationships, physical health and poverty.
This exhibition aims to address some or all of these themes is through a focus on the issues of mental health and young people.

1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.

Approximately £9.75 is spent on research per person affected by mental health problems

About the project

The exhibition will showcase the work of students from a number of schools.
The artists have all been working single or in groups to highlight the issues of mental health.
The pieces will be displayed are will be varied and colourful.
Other artist's work will also be shown throughout the length of the exhibition and representatives from organisations will be available to talk to

The school decide the 3 images to submit to gallery competition – images to be supplied by end of March.

The additional images will be viewed for possible inclusion in Elephant in the Room Commemorative Book..
